A short entry, more to collect my thoughts more than anything, anyways, was reflecting on Psalms 90:10-12:
We live for seventy years or so
(with luck we might make it to eighty),
And what do we have to show for it? Trouble.
Toil and trouble and a marker in the graveyard.
Who can make sense of such rage,
such anger against the very ones who fear you
Oh! Teach us to live well!
Teach us to live wisely and well!
Life is short, do it well. The stakes are high either way, either you waste the 70 or 80 years you get and then die, or miss out on the offer of eternal life, the consequences of which are forever. Dream big, love with abandon, find life worth living. Don't settle for anything less than best. The offer is life (John 10:10), live it.
Anyways, I should really be trying to get to bed, so until next time,
Josh
